Chapter 3: Page 19
We’re nearing the close of chapter 3. There are still a few surprises left but all the pages are drawn out and roughly half of them are colored – next week will probably have a bonus update or something because I really want to keep the story moving as quickly as I can.
I’ve been realizing lately how far I’ve come, and it makes me really happy to be able to share my work with you guys. So, as ever, thanks for reading :)

One of those cultural details that won’t make it into the comic is the tendency to go barefoot because it’s another level of awareness/connection with one’s surroundings… XD Also, listi’in elves have like +5 cold resistance.

Also, I’m curious: the way I’m reading it, Tav and Thali are both room-mates and a couple, while at school. Is that usual for the culture? Are puppy piles usual?
That’s just Thali’s room, we haven’t seen Tav’s. The students who have been there for a while have their own rooms, but it’s likely they spend time in each others rooms often enough XD As long as it doesn’t distract from studies, interstudent relations aren’t discouraged.
Elfpiles are a common theme across all cultures, yes XD And Tav doesn’t want to make Lenya uncomfortable, I think!

…another random question: Is the three fingers/toes thing an Elf Quest homage, or just something you like?
Little bit of both ;) It’s a combination of EQ homage and an in-joke among my friends that pinkie fingers are weird.
