ooh, Emma can you add your comic to ComicRocket- https://www.comic-rocket.com/ – i just started using it to track pages and updates and i was sad that Halflight wasn’t on there yet.
New reader here! You know, I’ve been thinking that the dress uniforms might be a subliminal (or deliberate) homage to Star Trek TOS (original series) command uniforms- the ones in the movies, I mean. With the red sweaters and colored collars, you know. http://www.costumecostumecostume.com/twokcrew.jpg Seems even more likely now! Anyway, I love the coloring and the quietly beautiful story telling. I read an whole lotta web comics, and I think this is a new favorite!
it was definitely green XD. That first panel kicks ass :D
AS the alien asked MR. Scott “What is it? MR. Scott says Its Green.”
And then they did an homage to that scene with Mr. Data in the TNG episode “Relics”:

Does anyone else find it absolutely adorable that she blushes purple?
Yes.
Yes, this comic has hit new heights of WIN for just using that Star Trek reference! XD
Thats the kind of face i make when i sip whiskey >_0
This liquor is actually based on one I occasionally drink IRL. :P and it still occasionally makes me make that face!
well there is a series of fantasy books that hold that elves have a si;ver based blood and it’s coloer is blue. so they would blush purple.
That’s an interesting concept…but oxidized silver is black, so their blood should be…black.

Her expression WINS everything.
Panel 4… either he’s winking or making “the face”… or both :P
Possibly a bit of both. An experienced drinker of the green stuff knows how to pull it off smooth-like!

That sure is a fun expression in the first panel.
