Chapter 4: Page 27
Hey, everyone! You may have noticed Halflight was pretty quiet last week and the first half of this one. That’s because in the middle of last week I was struck by a really awful and scary case of food poisoning.
Now, I’ve had a rough few weeks – my car exploded, I was mugged at gunpoint, and then this being too sick to stand business. When I was mugged, pretty much every inking pen i owned aside from one really old one was in the bag that got stolen, and I haven’t gotten to the art store to get a replacement set. Lame, right?
This is, incidentally, the 99th page of Halflight, which makes the next page the landmark page 100! I will be *attempting* to add a few buttons and get some merchandise up soon, also. The next page will also conclude chapter 4.
@_@!! Wow Emma, rough.. I am glad to see you are feeling better, and as for the mugging and car.. best wishes from me and hang in there. Looking forward to seeing that 100th page! :D
Thanks very much. The next page will be up this weekend sometime – keep an eye out!
Gaah! Go you for bouncing back!
That’s a hella streak of bad luck. Any one of those would knock me on my tail for a few weeks. You’re doing great to be working again so soon. I want to give you a platitude about how things will get better, but instead I’ll pray for strength for you.
Thank you! It’s been rough, but I just got some new pens, so I should be able to start work on the next chapter soon.
Ouch..hope it improves for you soon. in other news does the drow think she can walk away for a woodelf scout with out him weaking up and getting nosiey, Also what happans if strangers fallow her home..”Mom he falloed me home ..can i keep him..”
Hehe I guess we’ll find out! And thanks. :)
YES! NEW PAGE!
I am overflowing with joy-energy! I will make the joy dance!
paapara parapapa! *grooving*
Wow, I’m sorry to hear that you got not one, not two, but THREE instances of bad fortune. Them’s the breaks, I suppose. Nice to see that you’re holding out okay though. Hopefully things will start to swing back in to your favour soon enough… for the sake of ART.
Ouch, tough times (what’s lame is the nasty mugger). Like Pitard said, well done you for bouncing back! I hope you’re doing all right, or at least know where you can find support if you need it.
Lots of hugs, and thanks for lovely page, this is getting intense!
