Chapter 5: Page 16
The co-artist for this page is my loveable yet destructive feline companion. While she endeavors to support my forays into new methods of making Halflight happen, she is impulsive with her creativity.
I thought it suited the mood of the page, so I let it be. As always, thanks for reading!
Is that… the clan mother? :-(
Your cat is a great artist! XD These black streaks make the page look HAUNTED, much more dark and mysterious and, and… terrifying!
I was very upset at her for all of thirty seconds after i wiped off the rivers of ink. Then I had an ink-covered arm and an extra creepy-fied page!
I approve of kitty-art.
More of this sort of thing. =3
it does actually.. makes it that tad bit more gloomy.
The image of the lady speared is quite hard..
Ha, yes. I didn’t realize it was unintentional until you pointed out it was a cat-splotch. It does suit the ghastly deathly atmosphere. Maybe you should do more collaborations :)
(you do work well alone too though, just to be clear! this is chilling stuff. love your comic!)
Thanks! It’s definitely getting darker in atmosphere, and I liked the effect, we’ll see if it’s possible to recreate it in the future. Under more controlled circumstances XD
I agree.. I thought the cat art was something you did on purpose. It actually gives an interesting effect.
Thanks, I plan on experimenting more with effects like that :)
…coulda fooled me. I thought it was planned that way! +1 on the cat’s artistic sense.
I love the effect, mistakes make the best stories.
